Wokingham Housing is pleased to announce the next stage in the affordable housing development at Norton Road has been achieved with the appointment of the builder who will be responsible for the project’s construction.
LIFEBuild, a building contractor based in High Wycombe won the contract following a competitive tender and was chosen because the company submitted the lowest price tender, combined with having a strong track record in the sector and being known for value, reliability and high quality workmanship.
The build at Norton Road, Wokingham will be delivered on a former print works site and will provide a mixed tenure development of three affordable rented houses and six shared ownership apartments.
Building work begins in November 2017 and it is expected that the first residents will be able to move in by October 2018.
